"I was first introduced to Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority Inc. by my two older sisters, who had joined during their time in University. I admired the connections and sisterhood both my sisters had, and how they carried these bonds throughout the years. As I grew older and started university, I still felt I was missing my own community, which left me feeling isolated. I attended MGC recruitment events at my sister's encouragement, and I was instantly drawn to GAO. I learned more about GAO and realized I resonated strongly with its pillars of honesty, integrity, leadership, scholarship, and unity. I admired the sisterhood I saw among the sisters and knew this was where I wanted to be. As I got closer to my line-sisters, I began to love and admire each of them and to appreciate how they, too, have helped me grow as a person.
